An old Dirt Road

by Bobby Jo

Stroll down an old dirt road in the middle of nowhere
You'll find a family of love and followers of God

Farming and Ranching, Wheat and Milo
Horses, cows, and deer roam by the silo

A simple life, yet days are filled
Rain and snow, the wind will blow

Hot or cold, the work never stops
Days filled with blessings, knees bent at the cross

Follow me, down an old dirt road
Where life slows down with blessings abound

Renewed by the spirit, your soul will travel,
Down an old dirt road made of gravel.
