Thanksgiving

Express many thanks to God above,
For homes, families, and those you love.
Be grateful for the person you are.
Families gather from near and far.
 
Be kind when you meet a friend that's new.
Share food with the poor and needy too.
Enjoy fun games or go to the zoo.
Show interest in class your kids do.
 
Visit friends, neighbors that are alone.
Share interests with friends on the phone.
There is yummy food that we all eat.
Apple or cherry pie is a treat.
 
Take a nap or walk after your meal.
Be careful you can see, hear, and feel.
Watching the parade is fun to do.
There's some football games for me and you.
