How to get

Green grass on both sides ...

by Wendy G

Gardens graciously give so much pleasure

Always give exercise – but then there’s leisure!

Restoring nature to its original beauty

Does offer rewards, so I do my duty. . .

Energy required – of course that’s a must. . .

Never-ending weeding – but I’ll do it or bust!

Inspiring others to enjoy the delights -

Neighbours admire these garden sights

Getting busy themselves to set theirs to rights!

***

Fun get-togethers, thoughts and plants to share

Understanding each other, and being aware

Nature needs us to help it, to love it, to care!

Something meaningful. writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
An acrostic rhyming poem about something meaningful to you.

When we moved here, there was no garden, so I created one. Watching its progress into an area of colourful beauty inspired many to get busy on their own gardens. Now we share plants and thoughts, and enjoy close relationships.

I was trying to have dark green font, and it looks fine on my screen. However it will not save.
