Shivering, so frightened and so very alone

I said I’m ready to help you face the unknown

Never hurting you by being a selfish liar

You are so delicate and my heart’s desire

Your love I will cherish and never disown

You, dear one, set my hopeful soul on fire

You, my dear, will be my healing moonstone

Promise you our love will never be outgrown
