Top left photo: Dancing with some of my female students at the annual school talent show to the empowerment ballad, "I'm Every Woman". Dance created by my students and me.

Top right photo: Women's History Month photo with my female students. We agreed to wear black and white. We had a private lunch in the classroom and laughed and talked about whatever was on their hearts and minds. Of course, all students completed a unit of study on the contributions of females to the American culture.

Bottom left photo: I organized an annual poetry reading called the "Poets' Cafe".
All of my students who wrote poetry or loved poetry read their original or favorite poets' poems for the community. The young lady with her arms folded on the front row has released a chapbook of poetry and her first hardcopy book entitled "Bright Shade". I received my signed copy in the mail.

Bottom right photo: My students and I always started class time with a large group chat and lots of laughter.
Photos are from three different Middle School classes.
