In the winter kids go ice skating, have fun too.
Making snowmen; having snowball fights fun to do.
Snowflakes float gently to the ground; glisten to trees.
There's everal days we feel a very cold breeze.
Hot chocolate tastes great; it's healthy for me and you
People will gather around the fireplace too.
Riding the sled and toboggan is fun to do.
We love to eat oatmeal, soup, and a bowl of stew
In the winter
Kids watch a funny movie when they have the flu.
They invite friends over every time they feel blue.
At Christmas time they like to sit on Santa's knees.
They say "I would like this for Christmas please."
There are so many things that children love to do

Writing Prompt
A rondeau poem is required for this contest. It is a fixed form of poetry. It is often used in light or witty poems. It often has fifteen octo - or decasyllabic lines with three stanzas. It usually only has two rhymes used in the poem. A word or words from the first part of the first line are used as a refrain ending the second and third stanzas. The rhyme scheme is aabba aabR aabbaR. See an example and instructions here.
