He waits

and watches the train
tags on tags on tags on tags
His toes are numb in his sneakers
holes in his sneakers
holes in his jeans
holes in his sweater
holes in his billfold
beard patches
burn scars
tags on tags on tags on tags
He waits
and watches the train
