Thanksgiving Advice

by Regina Elliott

Driving my good 'old bucket of nuts
and bolts,
under the blazing regal tapestry of
autumn trees,
suddenly, some trotting wild turkeys
gave me jolts,
I lowered my windows and felt a
crisp breeze,

 "Gobblers, if you consider your
 giblets dear,
and want to grow old,
RUN!!! the hunters are NEAR!!!
you sure don't want to be on a
china platter trimmed in gold!!!"
Their eyes got so dag-gone big
and-they sure picked up their pace,
they ran into the woods faster than
a NASCAR race!!!!
