My child

Pearl

I had a little girl
her name was Pearl,
for indeed she was.
 
Her prayers
covered many layers,
for she loved everyone.
 
She loved Jesus
and just between us,
He loved her more.
 
He took her home
to be His own
before evil could
enter her hearts door.
