Uh-oh
Do Not Enter
would not have helped either,
I suspect.

What about
Smoking is dangerous
to your health.
Nevermind, I see
a cigarette smoldering.

Have you also ignored
signs that read,

I'd bet Slippery When Wet,
Caution and Thin Ice?you did
neglect them as well.

As for the scar you bear,
was it because you disregarded
the Beware of Dog posting?
Yes. I see its teeth marks.

But the one I see you
haven't defied might have been:
Is there life after death?
Trespass here and find out.
But then, the day's not over.
