One sunny day on a night so very black 

He came from the front and stuck an object in my back

An alone off duty cop, was patrolling half the street

Drove by and stopped to help, while I'm starting to retreat

Mugger started running while he quietly screamed 

My sweats started freezing while I silently beamed 

A second cop got out and chased that mangy man

Then the other cop asked, identify if you can

A white native man, perfect face with a scar

I saw him watching me, but was out of sight so far

.Along came a blind man, claims he saw everything 

Faced the thief back to back, in the club where they both sing

He said he is a friend to that stranger he had met

Walked different directions, but was following him yet

The crook lives down due north, right on a vacant lot

Lived there twenty years, since he died when he got shot

I'm sticking to this story. Please tell me how it went
