Once upon a day quite sticky, Sal sprayed perfume, oh so icky
On her body, sweaty, sweaty; she was running late.
If she had been thinking clearly, she would not have paid so dearly;
She, would probably have showered, clean and fresh, just like a flower.
But, she didn't.

Instead, Sal, though icky sticky, ventured from her bailiwicky,
To go see a romance flicky; flick of great renown.
How-some-ever, Sal should never have attempted this endeavor
For the people sitting near, began to quickly disappear
Fleeing to the rear.

Sitting there, no one around her, an employee came and found her
Found her and asked her to leave; her money, back, they guaranteed
If she'd agree to quickly vacate, those who'd left, then they could placate.
But she didn't want to leave; They couldn't make her, she believed,
So, she refused.

Next thing, FBI rushed in, fifty dedicated men,so very brave and bold,
Totally unnecessary, fierce looking and very scary, doing as they're told.
And if that wasn't enough, one of them got out handcuffs
"You're going straight to jail," he said, and Sal began to wail.
And people stared.


Then, those who'd been sitting near her, boo-ed their feelings louder, clearer,
"She smells bad, and that's the truth, yes, but you all are being ruthless
She's a citizen with rights and you're the ones who are incitin'..."
Then, those stalwart FBI men rounded them up, there and then.
Sal was scared.

Sal realized, a little late, that she had sealed those people's fate;
Her stubbornness had hurt their lives; she needed to apologize
And so, when things were said and done, and her new friends and she had won,
She had them all to her house for, a big "Thank You" and open bar. And she was
Squeaky clean.
