I was in a crowd and felt out of place
I began dreaming I was in outer space
Stars dancing in darkness all around
The silence was deafening so I found
A speeding comet whooshed on by
I wanted to grab it and give it a try
Everything in my body moved slow
There is no gravity in space you know
I saw Mars and Jupiter and many moons
Out in space there's no crowded rooms
Suddenly my oxygen was running out
Earthbound became my only route
I was sitting in a recliner all alone
Everyone in the room went home
