I have a few ideas of how to get our country back

A little common sense may put us back on the right track

There's way too much money going into the wrong pockets

Is it necessary to send up that many rockets

That money is not theirs to steal; it's from our earned tax dollar

We need more people speaking up; it's time for us to holler 

There was a time that politicians, worked for what they got 

An honest day with pay, before our leaders could be bought

Has anyone in Washington, been briefed on National Debt 

While rich take care of number one, the poor get poorer yet

I do love helping others; but fear socialism's curse

Worked hard for what we have, we don't want to hit reverse

Right now I see the spending; trying to buy our grandkid's vote

Their future's message loud and clear, it's gone 'that's all she wrote'

Paying off their student debt means later they will pay

 Our grandkid's  future should be bright, as any sunny day

I hate to get political; we know what is to blame

Without real leadership, it won't ever be the same

I know there's honest people who are left in our dear land

 principles and morals, what our forefathers' had planned

Vote for those who live, from the Great Book of right and wrong

With God's blessings once again, US can come back strong
