Struggling to rise from the ruins, Glenda flexed her aching fingers and reached tentatively towards her avenue of escape. Tap, tap, tap.
She was beginning to see the way clear to freedom! Her new life awaited.
Because of the pain, it would take time, but Glenda had learned patience through her long captivity. She knew she would feel better when she reached other people and made connection. Tap, tap, tap.
