No Longer With You

How can I come back from the dead?
I can't and I don't have any special powers.
It's time for me to rest.
Why?
If I were alive, I wouldn't attempt it.
It's in my nature to help my family.
I would tell them to follow my advice,
if they hear me.
Why would I help?
It can be helpful for me to be a ghost,
and help my relatives,
anyway, I can.
It would bring them glory.
"Follow the long path towards your goal. I'd remind them."
What purpose does it serve?
It makes them feel like they
have achieved their dreams come true.
I wanted you to have it to be true,
for it's my wish.
Would you save your kids' lives?
Of course, I would, as a Holy Spirit,
It serves its purpose.
I live here now,
and I'll stay here always.
I think about them every day,
It is what it is,
but I'm here in my resting place.
I can't complain.
The afterlife has its benefits.
"Goodbye to you all; I will wait for you
here in the afterlife."
"Don't follow me, if you do, I'll come
looking for you. Don't you fear no more."
"This is my kingdom with God now."
