A 75 word flash fiction story
Running

She struggled to run. Her lungs burned, her legs shook, and her mind went completely blank. She was nauseated, dizzy, on the verge of passing out. Heat blossomed on her face. Her fists, clenched. She stopped dead in her tracks and squeezed her eyes shut to hold back tears. Fear wouldn’t stop her this time, but hunger definitely would.

She stopped dead in her tracks and squeezed her eyes shut to hold back tears. Fear wouldn’t stop her this time, but hunger definitely would.
This is literally a flash fiction story. I wrote it with 7 hours left, then added the ending with 30min left before the deadline. So, it is what it is and I hope it's a good one!
