Who knows...

Where?

Where will life find me a year from now?
Will I be as I am or who I hope to be?
Where will life find me a tear from now?
With a heart sad and heavy or as carefree as can be?

Where will love find me a year from now?
 Cherished by someone who loves me for me?
Where will life find me a year from now?
Will I be a prisoner or will I be free?

Will happiness find me now that I've moved?
Away from childhood and grew?
Or will it seek me in that childish mind?
That fantasy playground, that world I left behind?

That world for which I search but never find.
