A sonnet
Autumnal winds bring sea foam to the shore,
The Neptune kingdom is morose and calm.
The ocean beauty no one can ignore,
to tortured minds it is a healing balm.
I loved to walk your sands and breathe your air
that filled my lungs with magic of your waves --
I reveled in your haunting atmosphere
and dreamed of making you my Neptune grave.
Oh, King the deep, I am bewitched by thee --
you bring me happiness and peace of mind;
You make me feel adventurous and free,
A bigger solace I could never find.
My ashes may be spread o'er you one day
With you around, I'll never go astray.
