This work has reached the exceptional level
My only boy, but I hit the jackpot with him

My Son Jason

My Dearest Jason,
I hope you know how special you are.
And that you're a wonderful son
As a child you battled with asthma.

We barely slept till that battle was won

I remember holding you in my arms
As I rocked and sang you to sleep
Night after night, I held you so close
Precious memories that I'll always keep

Your heart was as big as an ocean
And I love how you smiled with your eyes
You were always so mild mannered
To all who know you, that's not a surprise

And then you grew up and became a man
Got married and had boys of your own
You're an awesome husband and father
One of the best men that I've ever known

Your talents and hard working ethics
Like your dad, in much that you do
Your carpentry, sawmill, working at home
And your job to name just a few

As your sons started getting older
Came an extra curricular life
You take time needed for family
I'm so happy for your boys and your wife

So Jason, I want and need you to know
How I've loved you, all of these years
From, start of your life, till the end of mine
You make me proud with joyful tears!

With so much love, Mom
