Life within death.

When the time comes

by Charity Stewart

Do I really need to wait?

Leaving this earth is my only escape.

Why can't I die already?

Freddy Krueger controlling my dreams so steady.

When my time comes, I'll be ready.

My purpose on this earth is very petty.

Waking up must be a delusion.

Life after death seems to be a better conclusion.

The grass might be greener on the other side.

My plead to continue to live has been denied.

My soul and body is slowly starting to divide.

Counseling is too late to provide.

Cruising in Jeremiah knowing it will be my last ride.

I want to see heaven when I open my eyes.

Maybe I will only see the memories from deep inside.

Remember me by writing poetic voice of the streets in the skies.

When you light the blunt , you will see me when you get high.

Leaving this earth is a celebration so please don't cry.

God's plan you must trust and never question why.

Even after death, I will never truly die.

No more debt, suffering or pain.

My memories, accomplishments and voice will remain.

My life is like a period so it will leave a stain.

You can't save me like Spiderman did Mary Jane.

You can't save me like Superman did Lois Lane.

No longer living a double life like Batman and Bruce Wayne.

Path of death laid before me out of iron rails.

My struggles heavily weighing me down, too much to measure on a scale.

Pour my ashes all over the trails.

In life I was crucified like Christ so through my hands you can see the nails.

When I'm gone don't mourn over my grave.

I'll be watching over you so please behave.

When you look up above, you will see me wave.

Celebrate my life hard like they do at raves.

I hope memories of happiness and life you will crave.

I know I'm headed to a better place so I'm not afraid.

I hope my journey can be planted like a braid.

Attempting to clean the skeletons out of my closet, I need a maid.

I know my words are hot, let me give you some shade.

When I'm gone don't let the poetic voice of the streets ever fade.
