A beautiful moment in time

A short time ago while visiting home. On my return, my son who is a fisherman asked if I would stop at the turn off to his home. I thought he wanted to give me codfish. However, he just wanted to see me off with hugs. He made my day.

Can you write a complete story with only 50 words? That's the challenge of this writing contest.


I was visiting my hometown for a few days. My son asked me to stop at the turnoff to his house he wanted to see me. Being a fishermen he usually gives me fish before I go back. It brought smiles to my face when I knew he just wanted to see me off. A proud moment for sure.
