My making waves should be no problem
for most have experience with the moon
which creates them in the sea all the time.

At least with me, you know what to expect
should I be seen heading your way.
For any others, be kind. Issue a warning'
to those lacking awareness, to either
grab a surfboard, or a Mae West vest,
depending on how they respond to tests,
similar to an advanced calculus exam
or a dentist drilling without anesthetics.

I've a numbing effect on the unexpected.
It's not how I would have wanted to be
but being predisposed by family genes,
my personality could've been forecasted
like the height and direction of ocean swells
by graduates with meteorological degrees.

"Stormy weather is heading your way.
We recommend to batten* the hatches,
or construct a plan to safely evacuate."

Why? Because, like you, it's hard to change
an immutable person who is sacrosanct.*

* sacrosanct: beyond criticism, change, or interference
batten: nautical term to dog te latches on hatches.
