He thinks he da man

He Da King

by Mike Stevens

He rose to the heights, at least in his mind
King of nothing, a legacy of bullshit lies,

Delusional reasoning never let him rest,
in his clogged mind, thinks he's the best

He ruled with a paranoid and iron hand
He ruled a fantasy castle built upon sand

His was a temper of an angry third-grade boy,
and he treated government as his personal toy,

here to enrich him, and expected his subjects to be loyal
His self-serving decrees caused chaos but royal

And America was his oyster to feed his gluttonous ways
He worshiped strongmen and the 'crime pays' phrase

Incapable of empathy, he had a cult following none-the-less,
his heavy-handed decisions caused confusion and mess

Soon the people grew weary of his chaos and servitude,
and voted him out, along with his mobster-like rude

He still voices his unhappy through the magic scroll,
and strives to regain his rightful place and complete control
