It was Too Young, to Soon.
Lived his life with just a smile and a share.
Damn!
How I wish he was still there!
And, as for me?
...
Life goes on and on and on...
And, I gotta hang on.
Like this lingering note that just doesn't fit, nor can't get along?
...
So, I'll just concentrate.
And, write a few tunes.
Get that old scratched up record out.
And, sing along with Diana Ross to "The Lady Sings the Blues"
...
Baby?
I still ain't got a clue.
But, I'm coming home soon.
Because for me and you?
