Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
The working hands of an old country woman

Gnarled Fingers

Gnarled Fingers

reach to snap
green beans,
scrub dirt from coveralls,
wash dishes chipped with age.
Can do it blind.
It has been many a day of doing.
Nothing waits long
before being tended to.
Gnarled
fingers
mirror a tranquil grace.
