Why Do Bad Things Feel So Good?

Temptation’s ready to ensnare.
That little worm is hiding there
in ev’ry apple, so beware!

She’ll tempt you with an easy prize.
To turn to sin is just not wise —
you’ll never get to paradise.

Oh, why do bad things feel so good?
Hold firm — for they must be withstood.
You know you can; you know you should.

Does your heart race when on the verge
of giving in to carnal urge?
Live clean. Live true. Resist. Emerge...

into your life which you control,
or you will fall into a hole.
Let virtue be your honest goal.
