Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Sometimes you have to give up to get ahead

The Dance of Inspiration

An eddy forms from paper dust
and waltzes on the breeze,
dictated by frustrated sighs
but dancing Viennese.

A spark ignites inside my heart
and flames arouse a passion.
The ice malaise of writer’s block
cascades into a session

of words and thoughts and meter’s grace,
describing what I see,
and all because I dared to sigh -
I set the dancers free.

I was wondering what to write about, and then I didn't need to :-)

I hope you enjoyed the read.

For reference, the Viennese Waltz is a dance characterised by continuous graceful twirling.
