The opposite of putting one at ease.

Things that may make one UNeasy

by Tom Horonzy

Imagine an undressed man,
five foot two, three hundred pounds,
chasing a woman on a street. She was you...
Would that have you feel Uneasy?

What about a special delivery?
Postmarked, Washington, D.C.,
Department of Auditing
Could that make you Uneasy?

Or, while driving on the Interstate,
a trooper lights his bubble while sounding a siren,
pulls behind you, and then, exits unexpectedly.
I would've wet my pants and felt very UNeasy.

Or I recall a time when I crossed a street in Waikiki
to approach a gal (?) in a little black dress.
"Excuse me, ma'am, can I buy you a drink?"
A guy swirled around and replied, "why yes!"
I confess. That made me Uneasy.

Once, I entered a lift after a lunch of cabbage,
beans and watermelon, joining seven nuns.
The cabin started up when my bowels cut loose.
That certainly caused me to feel UNeasy.

If a spider shimmied beside you
while holding a baby and a hot cup of tea.
You have arachnophobia. How would you feel?
In such a position I would feel UNeasy.

Finally, a pass/fail test lay before you.
You're carrying a 70.0 average
The proctor calls "Put your pencils down."
That'd be cause for them to be queasy & UNeasy?

Uneasy writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
When I heard myself tell my daughter, "Let me put you at ease, I thought what if instead what I said caused them distress? And thus, this contest, became part of me.

Examples could be swimming alone, bugs and such, changing a diaper. Name 1 or 2 or 3 or more.
Have fun.

Double overlay of two pictures taken by me. Eerie perhaps but for this contest fitting.
I think I am a misplaced nut looking for a bolt!
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
