Gift of Peace

by dragonpoet

This could be the gift of world peace.
From one form of death we're released
And from grief we would find surcease
No nations lose lives of their youth
Maybe we find in life a new truth

That can accept all as they are
And freely travel near and far
Without fear of death or new scars
That each country could be a booth
Where no one is rude or uncouth

And there would be no real borders
No need for spies or recorders
Or meetings to be brought to order
So weapon making can now cease
This could be the gift of world peace
