Bananas are satisfying at any time.

A Fruit of All Occasions

Oh, Banana, you lush, mushy treat
I wait as you turn from verdant green
Anticipating your yellow skin gleam
Signaling that you are ready to eat

I gently caress your oblong shape
Carefully detach your woody stem
Deftly peel off your guardian skin
Sniff your fragrant, fruity aroma,

Remove your white, thread-like strings
Sink my teeth into your floral white meat
You taste to me a little sweet like honey
With a tiny drop of Bumbu Rum

To say the least, you are a satisfying treat
No matter at breakfast, lunch or after dinner
As a delighting, delicious flaming dessert
You are a great fruit, one of the best on earth
