Sometimes people are not who we wish them to be.
Unexpected

An attractive woman pulled a box of cereal from the supermarket shelf.
I said, “That’s my brand. No sugar.”
“Thanks.” She dropped it in her cart.
“Would you like to go for coffee?”
She looked me over, then said, “Okay, Starbucks on the corner.”
We enjoyed each other’s company. She invited me to her place for dinner.
“Love to,” I said.
“Be there at seven.”
I rang. She opened the door. Gave her flowers.
“Perfect, my husband has dinner ready.”
