His faith was compassion
They kept walking by
He did not cry

Faith is the evidence
of things not seen
No addict or drunk
Was he, just hungry

He was a believer in
The goodness of man
Still he waited for bread
Some threw coins instead

Who was this man, testing faith
A mission man fed him
Who are you young man?
