Dreaming

Down in the depths of my subconscious mind
Revealing itself whenever I sleep
Etching a picture, the visual kind
Arrangement of night thoughts, their tiptoes creep
Memories fade at the rise of sunlight
Images disappear, never to return
Newly formed pictures the very next night
Goodnight to daylight, it’s dreamtime I yearn
