Time Flies

Where did it go?
I swear, today has been the fastest on record. Every minute seemed like seconds, hours like minutes. Step by step, each one taken has had more life in it today. Even the obligatory nap I allow myself seemed short, yet it gave me much- needed energy.
I amble on towards home. At this pace Mamma Turtle will have fed the little ones and I can have time with them. Here’s hoping.
