Happiness is being with my wife

There is one thing
In this world
That continues
To make me happy

Seeing my wife
The love of my life
Waking up
Next to me

Every day
With her
Is another day
In Paradise.

It was love
At first sight
We knew we were
Eternal soul mates.

I dreamt of meeting her
For eight years
Then she walked
Off a bus
Into my life.

We got married
Two months
After we met.
40 years ago

And she still
Makes me happy

With her smile
Her laughter
And her love.
