An observation from a morning walk

Sam's the Man

by bhogg

A daily ritual for me...walking my one-year-old Golden Doodle, Sam. It's as enjoyable to me as it is for him. Counting both morning and evening walks, we average about three miles per day.

This morning, at one of our favorite parks, we came across two young ladies exercising on yoga mats in an open meadow area. As we approached, I noticed one of them performing a move called downward dog. As we got near, I said, "My dog wanted me to tell you aren't doing the move correctly."

"Oh, what did he say?"

"He said that you don't hold your tail up in a perfect curl."

Giggling, she asked, "What did you tell him?"

"I told him that you don't have a tail."

"What did he have to say about that?"

"He simply said, 'Well, nobody's perfect!'"

I'm amazed when my forty-year-old son tells me he can't meet girls. It's so easy...walk my dog.
