A late Valentine poem

I Love You, Honey

by poetwatch

Baby, baby, hear what I say,
I miss you, Honey, every day.

I long for your exotic kiss
that sparks a night of loving bliss.
Yet, tears are falling from the skies;
I miss your luscious lips and eyes.

As I love you, and you love me,
we dive the deep and loving sea
Yet, our emotions did run hot.
But, love without you I ain't got.

My heart still beats, but it's alone,
and I'm so cold away from home.
Baby, baby, hear what I say,
I miss you, Honey, every day.

The wind's the one that strokes your hair,
my hands feel lost they are not there.
Without your lips to wake up to,
all I can do is dream of you.

Within this night, my wish comes true.
My angel walks into my view
with a smile that is meant for me.
My heart has come to set me free.

Baby, baby, hear what I say,
I'll love you, Honey, every day.
