Life's not fair

Tiny little Yorkie

by jenintorre

When I was a pup
I couldn't wait to grow up
and be big and strong
hoped it wouldn't take long.

I looked in the mirror every day
but I never got bigger I stayed this way.
It seems that I will always be small
Not like other dogs, big and tall.

I can't run fast and fetch a stick,
when I try, other dogs take the Mick.
I wish that I could be a bit merrier
but it's no fun being a Yorkshire terrier.

I'm carried around with a bow in my hair
Other dogs, they just laugh and stare.
It seems I'll always be a titch.
It' s really no joke ... Life's a bitch.
