5 a.m. Time to get Daddy out of bed
It is his job to make sure that I am fed.
I will meow until I get my favorite treat.
Starkist tuna is my favorite thing to eat.

I do not think I'm spoiled at all, not me.
My mommy and daddy love me, don't you see?
When I get tired, I will sleep most anywhere -
On Mommy and Daddy's bed or on the chair.

Sometimes I'll sit on Mommy's lap and purr loud.
I know I wouldn't like being in a crowd.
I enjoy kneading Mommy's pink and black yarn.
Because the yarn, to me, feels so nice and warm.

Now and then I decide to play with a ball.
You will never see me playing with a doll.
Mommy and daddy want me to run and play.
I know that "I love you" is one thing they say."

I need to tell Daddy to go to the store.
I'm out of treats. He needs to buy me some more.
I hope that there's many more years I can grow.
I'm grateful I love mommy and daddy so.
