Dare to dream...
An Intrepid Dewdrop's Daydream
by Pangalactic
Oh how I ache
to break free from this bog
I'm one of a billion
in this low lying fog
I long to condense
into resolute rain
to end this
purposeless
lingering
pain
To fall freely,
alone,
from ten miles high
passing snow smothered
Mountains
in clear blue skies
how though,
in such climes
could a raindrop
be conceived?
Why, in this
Misty daydream:
immaculately,
indeed, no other
dew drops dream
quite like me
The others
are happy
just lingering
- I Long To Be Free!
