Brick is Better

I looked at what I had done as a gaping hole stared back at me. Large, jagged and shameful.

This had been going on too long. I have a temper, I know it. Not against her, I would never lay a hand on her or the kids so when I wanted to release myself walls became my punching bag. There were plenty of reminders of that around the house. This last one just made me see sense.

I grimaced and rubbed my hand as I reached for the phone and some help. As my wife says, “Brick houses are better.”
