Somewhere deep inside lives...

Ageless Anger

May I introduce myself?
Though, we may have met before.
My name is Ageless Anger,
and I'm rotten to the core.

I come and go whene'er I please,
with or without a purpose.
 Little things you say or do,
can bring me to the surface.

There're days when I'm not there at all,
still, I simmer underneath.
And when I come, please do beware,
for I can cause much grief.

I'll say words that can hurt you,
I won't stop until you cry.
I cause fights that will harm you,
people, on my watch, can die.

I've been seen on lots of faces,
especially days of late.
The politics of division,
have caused my latest spate.

You'll recognize me right away,
my twisted countenance.
Scary, dark, and dangerous,
there'll be no recompense...

For all the damage I can do,
and will do every day.
So, let it out, I'm waiting,
you are welcome in the fray.

Do you think you can control me?
Really doubt it, for you see,
I'm a part of everyone.
There's no escaping me.
