Writing Prompt Write a 5-7-5 poem that follows the structure of a Haiku but without any limitation to the topic. Thus it will be a free form with the only limitation being the syllable count and format. It must have three lines. The first line has 5 syllables. The second line has 7 syllables. The third line has 5 syllables again. |
This is a family of four generations who live happily together.
Their ages range from thirteen to ninety-three years.
If they can live happily in the one home, why can't each one of us do better, in our own families, communities, societies, and nations?
