A question

Baby Shumway

A question Baby Shumway,
from Heaven freshly sent,
did you meet your great- grandpa?
For that is where he went.
Several days before you came,
he passed through Heaven's gate.
Did you pause to chat with him
and make your mommy wait?
Did he tell you there is joy
and sometimes days of care?
Did he tell you of the love
your family has to share?
Endearing child of promise,
you bring a bright new dawn.
For each day is a blessing
and life continues on.
