Writing Prompt Write ONE Diamonte poem. A Diamante is a seven-lined contrast poem set up in a diamond shape. To make it simple, here is a diagram.... Line 1: Noun or subject Line 2: Two Adjectives describing the first noun/subject Line 3: Three -ing words describing the first noun/subject Line 4: Four words: two about the first noun/subject, two about its antonym Line 5: Three -ing words about the antonym Line 6: Two adjectives describing the antonym Line 7: Antonym for the subject The poem should always be centered. Example: sun bright ~ hot warming ~ heating ~ burning daytime daylight ~ nighttime nightlight calming ~ glowing ~ renewing cool ~ mysterious moon No pictures. Use the default font. |
