Competition to Crack me...
by GregoryCody
"Where are your clothes?" I ask.
Caden, the 4 year old, darts out the bedroom.
I clothe him in one swoop, the phone against my cheek, explaining to my manager that I was not speaking to him.
Jackson aged 7, walks into the kitchen with what can only be a cat turd in his fingers - eyes gleaming with pride.
I scrub his hands as I hold back the vomit, and scan the room for the other one.
Whack!
A batman figurine strikes Jackson.
Caden steps out from the shadows like Damien, smiling.
I look at him.
