A typical day
My Covid Day

I log on to yet another zoom meeting. I begin work assignments.
Coffee break. I swivel on my office chair parked in my kitchen. No colleagues at the water cooler for a chat. My kitchen door is ajar. Tweets and chirps fill the air. Hot chocolate warms my innards on this March morning.
The afternoon wears on, punctuated by Teddy barking or a packet being dropped loudly in the porch. Social distancing.
Later I log off, grab my jacket to go to the supermarket. Forgotten something? Yes, my mask, my coat of armor.
There would be many days like this.
