A Huge Dog Who Doesn't Think He Is

I Just Wanna Be A Lap Dog

by sherrygreywolf

Cute Animal Poem Contest Winner
I like to think I'm a lap dog
Though many folks say it's not so.
My mom and pop call me a bed hog
But hug me and don't tell me NO!

I'm big and sometimes I slobber.
My tail sweeps table tops clean.
I'm known as the Super Snack-Robber,
My jaws a chewing machine.

I think I was cute when I was a pup
Or so I am told all the time.
But now I am older and all grown up
Aging like fine vintage wine.
