A poem about love...
They sing that love’s a fiery ring;
I’ve seen a feather fly -
I think that it’s a fickle thing
That blows across the sky.
Retreating back inside my ship
Of creases, tears and scars -
A paper rocket - cold, and white -
A cage among the stars,
I’ll miss the moon; its lullabies,
And suns that rise and fall,
But I’ll be safe from feathered skies
Inside my folded walls.
